A 134.2-metre Lürssen superyacht project, known only as Project Deep Blue, has left the shed for the first time in anticipation of her launch. These photographs offer the first glimpse of her completed exterior, characterised by powerful flared overhangs, floor-to-ceiling glazing and a classic white hull.
Very little is known about the mammoth build, which was last sighted in 2023 as a bare hull. Both her launch and delivery from the yard's Bremen facility are expected before November, according to BOATPro – though this is yet to be confirmed by the German yard.
The design team behind this five-deck yacht remain under wraps, but yacht-spotters have drawn similarities between Project Deep Blue's lines and those of Ahpo (now Lady Jorgia), with the same tapered decks on the forward part of the superstructure.
The yacht, which is expected to have a gross tonnage of around 9,000GT, is one of Lürssen's first projects to use the builder's new slipway, which is able to accommodate much heavier loads.
BOATPro reports 12 superyachts currently under construction at Lürssen, including Project Deep Blue.
Other highly anticipated builds include the 102.7-metre Project Jassj, which was technically launched last year, and the yard's first fuel-cell superyacht, Project Cosmos.
