The fourth hull in Perini Navi's 60-metre sailing series, Katana, has been delivered from The Italian Sea Group's (TISG) shipyard in Marina di Carrara. According to BOATPro, she is now headed for Gibraltar and joins sisterships Perseus 3, Seahawkand Seven on the water.

Construction began on speculation in 2016, with the aluminium sailer sold a year into the build to the owner of Monaco-based shipyard Gamma Yachts. Work resumed on Katana in 2022.

The build has been developed in collaboration with Ron Holland, who also oversaw naval architecture. Equipped with carbon fibre masts by Southern Spars, booms and rigging, her sailing system has been "redesigned" to increase ease of handling and improve performance. She also features a "latest generation dynamic positioning system", allowing owners to position and direct the yacht without using an anchor.

Accommodation is across five guest cabins and a master suite, with interiors styled by acclaimed French designer Rémi Tessier. While full details are yet to be disclosed, the shipyard has described the setting as "refine[d]", but "without the need for ostentation".
