The refit division of Italian yard Cantieri di Pisa has completed works on the 40.4-metre Perini Navi sailing yacht Ellen and the 41.7-metre Feadship yacht Gin-Tonicahead of schedule, with the two superyachts returned to their owners in recent weeks.
Ellen, which is managed by Monte Carlo-based agency Simonazzi Yachts, posed a peculiar challenge for the yard, requiring a dismasting to enter the Canale de Navicelli. Works included a complete repaint, including her masts, as well as class renewal.

Meanwhile, Gin-Tonic's refit involved her own class renewal, repairs to the metal hull and refurbishments on the onboard equipment, including the fitting of electrically operated stabilisers.
Both yachts will now cruise the Mediterranean for the remainder of the summer season, with Gin-Tonic returning to her charter programme.
