Dutch yard Vitters has announced the sale of a custom 63-metre sailing yacht known as Project Dreamer. The client has briefed Vitters to create "the largest yacht possible within a 500GT limit", with construction on the aluminium hull and deck set to begin this year at the yard's Zwartsluis site.
Delivery is scheduled for 2028, with long-standing collaborator Malcolm McKeonsigned on for exterior design. According to owner's representative Greg Monks, the project will "set new standards" within the flybridge yacht category, including "exceptionally low" noise and vibration levels and a focus on sustainability and efficiency.

Project Dreamer is said to have a "clean, timeless" exterior design, including a radiused transom and the flybridge, which extends across the entire superstructure and provides both dining and lounge seating for guests. Other design features include a mid-lazarette – with a fold-down hull door designed for launching watertoys – and "open, flowing" interiors by Milanese studio M2Atelier, which will incorporate soft textures, natural hues and touches of greenery.
Further details will be disclosed as the build progresses.
Project Dreamer will soon join two other superyacht projects currently underway at Vitters, according to BOATPro. This includes the highly-anticipated "zero fossil fuel" sailing yacht Project 3094.
