Baglietto launches custom 44M Fast yacht Speedy Bear

Italian shipyard Baglietto has launched a custom Fast44 motor yacht named Speedy Bear.

Created by Francesco Paszkowski Design, the 43.7-metre project builds on the classic lines of Baglietto's traditional fast aluminium yachts, such as the 46M Fast yacht Lucky Me. Paszkowski was also joined by long-time collaborator Margherita Casprinito fashion the yacht's interiors. 

The owner of this custom vessel has opted for a traditional layout within a five-cabin configuration. The main deck master cabin is located forward of the saloon's dining and lounge area, while two VIP double cabins and two single cabins – each with an additional berth – are found below, bringing the yacht's total party to 10 guests. 

Meanwhile, two fold-down balconies at the stern of the vessel create a generous sunbathing area around the pool, whereas the garage door can be converted into a swim platform as an extension of the beach club area housed within.

"This is indeed a custom project that exudes classical beauty while also featuring innovative solutions," said Baglietto's CCO Fabio Ermetto. "Speedy Bear reminds me of several historical and yet revolutionary vessels built by Baglietto – which marked the history of yachting – while also being a brand-new, one-of-a-kind project, faithful to Baglietto's DNA."

Speedy Bear is equipped with two MTU engines that will take her to a cruising speed of 23 knots and a maximum speed of 27 knots.

According to BOATPro, a further 18 projects are in build across Baglietto's La Spezia and Carrara sites. The Italian yard recently announced an in-build 54-metre model – also in collaboration with Paszkowski – which is scheduled for delivery in 2027.
