Carbon or composite? New or freshly refitted? Contemporary or classic? The sailing yacht brokerage market has something for everyone. BOAT rounds up eight of the finest sailing yachts currently listed for sale.

  Marie

Sailers for sale: Eight standout sailing yachts currently on the market

  Length: 54.6m

  Builder: Vitters

  Year: 2010

Elegant inside and out, the 54.6-metre ketch Marie has a classic Hoek Design exterior complemented by a light anigre interior featuring a baby grand piano in the saloon and a split-level owner’s cabin with private deckhouse aft. Alongside classic design, she offers incredible performance with several wins under her belt, including the 2014 St Barths Bucket and the Superyacht Cup in Palma.

Marie is asking €25,950,000 with Fraser.

  Candida

Sailers for sale: Eight standout sailing yachts currently on the market

  Length: 39.7m

  Builder: Camper & Nicholsons

  Year: 1929

With a mahogany-planked hull, teak superstructure and traditional interior, the 1929 Charles Nicholson Candida is a symphony of wood. Fresh from a 2024 refit, the J Class is ready to continue her near-century-long racing legacy. As one of the few remaining Charles Nicholson designs of this size in existence, she is "a true collector’s piece", according to her broker. Accommodation is for up to six guests in three cabins.

Candida is asking €5,000,000 with IYC.

  Asahi

Sailers for sale: Eight standout sailing yachts currently on the market

  Length: 56m

  Builder: Perini Navi

  Year: 2009

Following her 2009 launch, the 56-metre ketch Asahi picked up three awards, including Best Sailing Yacht at the following year’s World Superyacht Awards, partly thanks to her Rémi Tessier interior that can legitimately be called timeless 16 years on. Asahi is not to be underestimated on the superyacht regatta circuit either, with her streamlined, full aluminium hull, carbon fibre, automatic furling boom and 1,500 square metres of sail.

Asahi is asking €30,900,000 with Edmiston.

  Bliss

Sailers for sale: Eight standout sailing yachts currently on the market

  Length: 36.8m

  Builder: Yachting Developments

  Year: 2009

Boasting a contemporary design by Ed Dubois, this 36.8-metre world cruiser from New Zealand’s Yachting Developments has been a one-owner boat maintained in class since her 2009 launch. A €2,000,000 refit in 2024 ensures Bliss remains in peak condition. On board highlights include the foredeck recess, which stores a tender when underway and converts to a hot tub when at anchor, and the raised main saloon, which invites relaxation.

Bliss is POA with Superyacht Partners.

  Hemisphere

Sailers for sale: Eight standout sailing yachts currently on the market

  Length: 44.2m

  Builder: Pendennis

  Year: 2011

Until recently the world’s largest sailing catamaran, the now runner-up has immense living space between her two 44.2-metre hulls, including two principal suites on deck. Designed by multihull specialists VPLP to tour the world, Hemisphere comes with a vast watersports inventory. Michael Leach Design penned her interior, with a brief from the owner for a "six-star Polynesian style".

Hemisphere is asking €46,000,000 with Burgess.

  Sojana

Sailers for sale: Eight standout sailing yachts currently on the market

  Length: 35m

  Builder: Green Marine

  Year: 2003

Custom designed and built to perform, the 35-metre Sojana has proven herself on the superyacht regatta circuit time and again. A comprehensive maintenance programme gave her new rigging in 2020 and a new engine in 2022, and with a few modifications, she could be commercially compliant for charter. Her interior by Ken Freivokh reflects an age of traditional yachting, characterised by dark mahogany wood panelling and gold-plated fittings.

Sojana is asking €3,500,000 with Bernard Gallay Yacht Brokerage.

  Abide

Sailers for sale: Eight standout sailing yachts currently on the market

  Length: 41.6m

  Builder: Jongert

  Year: 2002

This 41.6-metre Jongert had one owner for nearly two decades, until she changed hands in 2021. While respecting her impeccable artisanship, Abide's current owners gave her a major update over a 21-month refit. A full-beam master cabin is one of her highlights. Aluminium spars, hydraulic furling systems and automated winches make her "smooth, solid and set up perfectly for comfortable, capable cruising", according to her captain.

Abide is asking $8,500,000 with Ocean Independence.

  Momi

Sailers for sale: Eight standout sailing yachts currently on the market

  Length: 24m

  Builder: Vismara Marine

  Year: 2021

The high-tech lightweight carbon composite construction and flush deck design may signal competitive racer, but a surprisingly comfortable interior accommodating six expands Momi’s repertoire to performance cruiser. The 24-metre from Vismara Marine comes with sail wardrobes for both roles. A functional deck layout adds to her versatility, with the cockpit acting as a natural divider – distinguishing space for guests and defining a working area for manoeuvres.

Momi is asking €2,950,000 with Moravia Yachting.
