Marine electronics specialists Actisense has expanded its presence in Australia with the opening of a new warehouse on the Gold Coast.
The facility will operate alongside the company’s existing distribution network, which includes JN Taylor and Southern Seas Marine, while also offering direct sales through the Actisense Australia website. The firm says this new, combined approach will provide customers with faster delivery times and access to the full Actisense range.
“Australia has one of the most passionate and technically demanding marine communities in the world,” says Justin Cohen, commercial director at Actisense. “By placing stock closer to customers and working hand in glove with JN Taylor and Southern Seas Marine, we’re making it even easier for boatbuilders, installers and operators to get the Actisense solutions they rely on — quickly and with the local support they expect.
“This investment underlines our long-term commitment to the Australian market, from recreational boating to commercial fleets.”
The news comes a month after Actisense took home two awards at the 2025 National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) Conference and Expo, held from 22-26 September in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The company recently expanded its range with a customisable NMEA dashboard available across its IP-connected products.
