Turkish yard Numarine has delivered the second hull in its flagship 40MXP series, christened Mitan. Commissioned by South American owners, the 39.4-metre yacht is positioned as a "natural evolution" of the yard's popular 37XP design, blending long-range expedition capabilities with an "outdoor living" ethos.
A hallmark of this flagship design is the expansive aft deck, made possible by extending the hull and moving the saloon’s aft sliding doors slightly forward. This area now houses a large al fresco dining space, bar and lounge that wrap around an aft pool with a glass transom.

Accommodation is for up to 12 guests across six cabins, includng a private owner's suite on the upper deck
The pool, in turn, connects to a hydraulic swim platform spanning the yacht’s full eight-metre beam, offering easy access to the water and the ultimate "beach club" experience, according to Numarine. Exterior design is owed to long-standing collaborator Can Yalman, while Umberto Tagliavini is responsible for naval architecture.
On the technical side, the yacht delivers a 6,000-nautical-mile range at eight knots, powered by twin MAN 800hp engines, with an optional Tier III-compliant 900hp configuration.
Mitan sets herself apart from sistership Miouch, which was delivered this August, by her custom exterior and interior colour scheme. The 40MXP is already proving to be a popular series with a third unit sold and under construction, scheduled for delivery next year.
