40m Westport motor yacht Figaro sold

　　The 39.6-metre Westport motor yacht Figaro has been sold in a deal between Thom Conboy and Chris Collins of Ocean Independence, who represented the seller, and Steven Messenger of S.I.Yachts, who introduced the buyer.

　　Constructed in GRP by US builder Westport, the yacht was penned by Gregory C. Marshall, while naval architecture was developed by William Garden. She was delivered in 2018 as one of the yard’s Westport 130 models. According to BOATPro, Figaro was on the market for just over two months after she rejoined the market in August.

　　Figaro accommodates 10 guests in five cabins, comprising a main deck, full-beam master suite, plus two double cabins and two twin cabins on the lower deck. There are further quarters for a crew of up to eight.

　　The main saloon on board boasts an array of comfortable furniture, including a large L-shaped settee. Situated forward, in the open-plan space, is a formal 10-seater dining table.

　　An al fresco dining space is found on her bridge deck, with ample socialising located on the foredeck. A standout flybridge plays host to sunloungers and a hot tub, with an additional al fresco dining area shaded by the hardtop.

　　Her listing brokers described the Westport 130 as "an iconic American-built yacht", also noting that Figaro, in particular, was previously "the youngest model for sale".

　　Twin 2,735hp MTU 16V2000 diesel engines provide the ABS-classed, 333GT motor yacht with a top speed of 25 knots, a cruising speed of 22 knots and a range of 3,000 nautical miles. She also benefits from Naiad zero-speed stabilisers.
