Compass Tenders launches two tenders for 80m Amels superyacht Pangea

　　Compass Tenders has announced the launch of two custom tenders for the first Amels 80 model, Pangea. The superyacht was delivered from Damen Yachting's facilities in Vlissingen, the Netherlands last month and is now en route to Antigua in the Caribbean, according to BOATPro.

　　The first order was for an 11.7-metre Limousine tender, with the owner's brief including clear headroom for eight guests and maximised exterior seating. The boat has also been optimised for daytime cruising with optional shade, while closely following the exterior lines of her mothership.

　　Compass’ in-house design team set about shaping the hull and coachroof to complement the Espen Øino-designed superyacht, including the "boldly sweeping topside window" which mimics Pangea's profile.

　　The yard collaborated with Sinot Architecture and Design to create the interiors, which incorporate walnut panelling, leather seating and subtle lighting. Interior amenities include the head compartment, galley unit, a top-spec audiovisual setup with K-Array sound system and Starlink WiFi, and two television screens.

The DRIB tender can function as a dive and fishing boat or guest transporter

　　The second order was for a DRIB, a "versatile model" able to quickly switch roles between dive boat, fishing boat, beach lander and guest transporter. Worthy of note is her innovative engine box arrangement that sees "pick-up truck inspired" airline tracks installed down either side, allowing for the secure transportation of equipment cases. Her construction also features extensive clear coat carbon and two-tone seating that matches her limousine sistership.

　　These tenders were completed in a 15-month timeframe and to "superyacht standards" with no expense spared.
