The 40.3-metre Royal Huisman sailing yacht Anakena has been listed for sale with Jeremy Comport and Jack Gradus of Ocean Independence.
Custom-built and delivered in 1996, Anakena features an aluminium hull and superstructure with teak decks, reflecting Royal Huisman’s hallmark. Her exterior design and engineering come from the drawing board of Ted Hood, while John Munford penned the traditionally styled interior. Anakena benefited from a refit in 2007 at Pendennis Shipyard.

Currently lying in Tarragona, Anakena is asking $4,700,000
Accommodation on board is available for up to ten guests across three cabins, including a full-beam owner’s cabin located aft, featuring a pair of double beds, and complemented by two twin cabins with "well-appointed" en suite facilities. She also has space for six crew members.

According to the brokers, Anakena offers “meticulous craftsmanship and thoughtful layout.” A standout feature is the bright, elevated deck saloon, framed by large windows that fill the space with natural light. The area includes high tables to port and starboard as well as a forward piloting station.
Meanwhile, the main saloon below combines warm teak panelling with separate dining and lounging areas.

Power on the yacht for sale comes from twin MTU engines, giving her a top speed of 13 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots.
Currently lying in Tarragona, Anakena is asking $4,700,000.
