Protector 380 Targa model
New Zealand boatbuilder Rayglass Boats has appointed Vancouver’s Loki Boats as the exclusive dealer for Protector Boats in Canada.
Operating under the name Protector Boats Canada, the dealership will be led by Loki Boats founder and principal, Matt Kirk-Buss.
The move signals Protector’s official entry into the Canadian market, offering access to its range of Chase and Targa models (measuring 8-12 metres).
Kirk-Buss says the partnership aligns with Loki Boats’ expertise in RIB design and construction, and adds: “Protector’s legacy of performance and durability aligns seamlessly with our own values. With our deep understanding of RIB design and construction, we’re excited to bring these exceptional vessels to Canadian waters.”
The first delivery under the new partnership, a Protector 310 Targa with twin Mercury V8 300hp outboards, has arrived in Vancouver, with further units expected in the coming months.
