The Smooty 2P AS device is a surge protector installed in series to telecommunication circuits and signal of equipment with low level of resistibility/ immunity. The protection allows data transmission up to 1 Mbit/s.
It provides the following features and advantages:
• Surge protection for direct and indirect discharges;
• The fine common mode and dierential mode protection makes it particularly suitable for signal circuits between ground (sea) -referenced equipment;
• Classification for impulse tests: categories C1, C2, C3, D1 (according to IEC/EN 61643-21).
