    Seoul Semiconductor Adds 19 Patent Infringement Litigations against Fry’s Electronics

    Seoul Semiconductor announced that it has expanded its patent infringement litigation against Fry’s Electronics, a U.S. based consumer electronics retailer, in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.



    In September, Seoul Semiconductor filed a patent infringement lawsuit that accused Fry’s Electronics of selling LED TV products that violate 15 of Seoul Semiconductor’s patents for LED backlight unit process. In its amended complaint, Seoul asserts that the top brand televisions being sold in Fry’s stores infringe 19 patents covering backlight lenses, backlight modules, LED chips, LED packages, and phosphors, as well as WICOP technology that enables LED chips to be directly soldered onto printed circuit boards (PCB).

    Seoul Semiconductor filed a patent infringement lawsuit for infringement of its LED driver patents against SATCO Products (SATCO). Seoul Semiconductor claimed that SATCO is selling various LED lighting products that infringe 11 patents of Seoul Semiconductor’s LED driver technology, including U.S. Patent 7,081,722, U.S. Patent 9,807,828; U.S. Patent 8,513,899; and U.S. Patent 8,716,946.

To comprehensively disseminate education on control and prevention of COVID-19 globally, based on the latest authoritative materials from China CDC, the World Health Organization and related periodicals -- with first-hand information from China, China CDC has organized experts and translators to develop the set of color publicity manuals containing FAQs regarding control and prevention of the epidemic(www.chinacdc.cn/en/COVID19). The compilation consists of such chapters as General Questions, Maternal and Child Health, Personal and Other Types of Protection, Diagnosis and Treatment.     Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) announced the collaboration with First Sensor AG to develop products aimed at speeding the launch of autonomous sensing technology serving unmanned automotive, aerial and underwater vehicles in transportation, smart agriculture, industrial manufacturing and other industries.
