    Global vehicle sales slows down due to the US-China disputes



    In the first half of 2018, car sales had slowly grown as the global economy was relatively stable. However, as the extra tariffs imposed by the Trump government came to effect in July, the on-going US-China dispute has created uncertainty in the global market and affected the sales of cars.

    Amsterdam Light Festival 2018-2019

    The Amsterdam Light Festival is now accepting submissions for the 2018-2019 edition of the event, which will take place Nov. 29, 2018 through Jan. 20, 2019. The deadline is Jan. 3, 2018. Artists, designers, engineers, architects, professionals and students alike, are invited to submit their concepts for the festival’s 2018-2019 theme: “The Medium is the Message.” Proposals are asked to address issues raised by questions such as “What kinds of messages does the medium light transmit nowadays? How does light shape or transform (digital) space? How does light extend and influence our reality? And how does it structure and transform our individual lives and society as a whole?”
