    Plessey, the UK-based Micro LED display developer focusing on AR/MR display application, announced that it is collaborating with Facebook, providing its technology to support Facebook building prototype and develop new technologies for potential use in the AR/VR space.

    Hobo Lighting Series by Studio Aisslinger for Wästberg

    Studio Aisslinger designed a series of lights that were created in conjunction with Stockholm’s Hobo Hotel, which they were also responsible for. Swedish manufacturer Wästberg was on board to work with them on the Hobo Lamp Family that evoked the same look and feel of the hotel’s interior. The result is a collection of lamps that come as either suspension lamps, table, or hook lamps, which can be used alone or in clusters.

    Plessey, the UK-based optoelectronic technology solutions provider, announced that it is going to demonstrate AR and VR glasses powered by Micro LEDs at CES 2019.     Vuzix and Plessey Confirm Long-Term Partnership for Micro LED AR Smart Glasses

    Smart glasses and AR technology provider Vuzix and optoelectronic technologies developer Plessey announced an exclusive display device design and long-term supply agreement. With the agreement, the two companies will work together on AR products development and productions combining Micro LED light source from Plessey and smart glasses expertise of Vuzix.
