From what began as a small rug business in 2007, The Rug Collection has grown rapidly into an international company selling designs across the globe. A lot has evolved here, but our true passion remains in creating unique designs and offering the market place a variety of rugs that you won't find anywhere else. Our exclusive rugs are all designed in Australia and handmade by skilled artisans in India. We regularly visit our production houses, working closely with the experienced crafters who have been dying yarns and expertly weaving handmade rugs for generations. All our pieces are of the highest quality, embrace fair trade practices and are handmade in New Zealand wool, wool blends and artsilk. Alongside our own designs, The Rug Collection has also had a lot of fun collaborating with some of Australia's most recognised artists and designers. These include Jamie Durie, Shaynna Blaze, Kas Australia, the Julu Wajaar Indigenous Collection, with more to come in 2016.
