COMPANY, HISTORY, HIS GOALS
The Cuppone Company was founded in 1963 by brothers Lorenzo, Luigi and Paolo Cuppone.
It immediately specialized itself in the production of ovens and equipment for pizza preparation and cooking, developing the entire production process in its factories, from design to the finished product, starting from the cutting and processing of raw sheets, up to the assembly of all semi-finished products and electrical and mechanical components.
Pursuing a continuous research and experimentation of new equipment, Cuppone F.lli Srl invented and patented the machines which have revolutionized the way pizza is made.
In 1975 the PIZZAFORM was born, a special press designed to roll the dough into round shapes of the desired size and thickness.
In 1978 the ROTAFORM was born, an automatic machine for portioning and then rounding the dough before rising.
Also in 1978 we produced the first mixers built entirely in stainless steel.
In 1981 we designed the first electronically controlled power and temperature system in the oven. This system, which guarantees uniform cooking and energy saving, has been continuously improved and is now used in the most prestigious series of our ovens.
In 1983 we produced the first gas ovens aimed exclusively at cooking pizza.
In 2003, in the fortieth anniversary of the foundation, we presented a brand-new pentagonal oven with digital control, built to meet the internal geometry of most of the premises. Called EVOLUTION, it was a worldwide novelty. With its harmonious and unmistakable line, it gives great prestige to every pizzeria.
In 2009 we started to produce the first rotary floor electric oven. GIOTTO, another world exclusive. The simplicity of use, the high hourly productivity, the consistency of the temperature under any workload (guaranteed perfect cooking from the first to the last pizza) and the economic efficiency, are its main characteristics. The latest generation digital control system allows you to program the most types of cooking: from traditional pizzas, to focaccia, to farinata, to bakery products, etc.
In 2011 TINTORETTO was born, an electric oven with heating elements and digital controls specifically designed for baking pizza in a pan, which today has been integrated with a Touch Screen control system and a boiler to produce steam that allows this oven to also be used for bakery and pastry.
Nowadays, we are sector leaders in Italy and in Europe, we are conquering more and more markets in the United States and Russia and we have excellent prospects, in Africa, South East Asia and Australia. We have completed the certification of the entire range of products in various countries, first of all the United States, where finally, thanks also to the work of our importer, the Forni Cuppone partnership, Italian pizza growing. We regularly train the technical staff of our importers and dealers to ensure maximum support, and we are constantly investing in the upgrading the spare part management system. We also have a cooking laboratory where we regularly give courses to teach the complete cycle of preparation and cooking of pizza with our equipment.
