Colliers International is marketing Number Four at Stow with a guide price of £1.95 million.
The property is run by sisters Caroline and Patricia Losel and features 18 guestrooms, suites and a family room.
Facilities include the Cutler's restaurant, a meeting suite, a car park and gardens. The property also includes a two-bedroom cottage which can be used as staff or self-catering accommodation.
The building was originally a two-storey pub before becoming the Roman Court Hotel. The current owners bought the property in 2010 and have undertaken a programme of refurbishment.
Peter Brunt, Colliers International hotels director, said: "Situated just off the Fosse Way on the junction of the A424 and A429, Number Four at Stow enjoys an enviable location and is within a short drive of the principal Cotswolds hotspots including Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water. Our clients bought the property when it was closed and transformed a rather drab business into the smart-set favourite you see today."
