The elegant signing ceremony was attended by Chairman of Regent Hotels and Resorts, Steven Pan, and Zhang Hongshan, Chairman of China’s Hua Hong Group.
Regent Place Harbin will be set in the heart of Harbin, joined by an array of impressive facilities at the Hua Hong International Center including office space, cinemas, a shopping mall and luxury residences.
The hotel will offer 250 guest rooms and 34 suites, three uniquely styled restaurants, a grand ballroom that accommodates 550 guests, a romantic chapel, 14 state-of-the art meeting rooms, ten spa treatment rooms, a large indoor swimming pool and fitness center.
Its contemporary, elegant design will pay homage to the city’s status as the “Paris of the Orient”, combining features that recall the styles of Gothic, Baroque and Byzantine architecture.
Regent Place Harbin will be the Regent Hotels & Resorts’ fourth property in China, following the launches of Regent Chongqing and Regent Place Xian in 2016 and 2017 respectively and its current property Regent Beijing. The group is also present internationally with hotels in Berlin, Singapore, Taipei and Porto Montenegro.
