AMResorts continues to expand its Secrets Resorts & Spas brand with the opening of Secrets Cap Cana Resort & Spa, bringing the brand portfolio to 15 properties total and two in the Dominican Republic.

The Dominican Republic President Danilo Medina presided over the official ribbon cutting ceremony, accompanied by John Mullen, Chairman of MREH; Alejandro Zozaya, CEO of Apple Leisure Group; Gustavo Montalvo, Minister of the Presidency; Francisco Javier García, the Dominican Republic Minister of Tourism; Tim Mullen, Investor, MREH; Jeff Mullen, Investor, MREH; José Ramón Peralta, Administrative Minister of the Presidency; Simón Lizardo, General Manager of BanReservas; Matt Mullen, Investor, MREH; John Hutchinson, COO of Apple Leisure Group and Gonzalo del Peon, President of AMResorts. Local hospitality business owners, industry partners, international media and guests also attended the grand opening event, held during the Dominican Annual Tourism Exchange (DATE) trade conference.'
