Tschuggen Hotel Group will welcome the Valsana Hotel to its collection on December 7th.
Built from scratch on the site of the previous property, the hotel is created from handcrafted stone and wood to the highest environmental and energy standards.
Valsana is spread across three new buildings with interiors by the vibrant Swiss designer Carlo Rampazzi, creating a subtle blend of styles that reflect the alpine landscape.
With a strong focus on sustainability, a state-of-the-art energy recovery system forms an important part of the new complex, making the building virtually self-sufficient in terms of energy supply, while maintaining the character of a Swiss alpine hotel.
The wooden facade of the hotel has been designed to blend in with the mountain scenery and embrace the natural surroundings.
Perfect for couples with a relaxed homely atmosphere, there are 40 spacious double rooms and suites with large balconies.
The Loft Suite has a 31 sqm panoramic balcony with views directly over Lake Arosa and the Graubünden mountains.
The nine, one and two-bedroom serviced apartments are ideal for families.
Restaurant Twist will offer contemporary cuisine with a wide selection of regional produce and a focus on nutrition, well-being and energy.
Set beside the lake, Twist offers beautiful views and al fresco dining on the sun terrace.
Located in the charming Swiss alpine village of Arosa, Valsana Hotel is just steps from the main cable car at an altitude of 1,800 metres and has easy ski in access.
Open in winter and summer, it is ideal for active guests with two indoor tennis courts, a high-tech fitness studio, extensive spa facilities, indoor and outdoor relaxation areas, plus a bike and ski shop.
