As early as 1876, Leopoldo rivolta created the predecessor of rivolta & C. Started from a factory in machero and began to produce high-quality linen products. After 150 years of vicissitudes and five generations of hard work, the factory has continued to grow and is still standing in machrerio.
In 1885, the current rivolta carmignani company was founded. He not only provides high-quality linen products for hotels and restaurants, but also becomes an official supplier designated by the Italian royal family.
In 1890, rivolta carmignani opened a retail store (now the flagship store of Cartier) in the Rue Napoleon in Milan to provide customized linen products for customers; At that time, RC's customers included the Italian royal family, the prince of Naples and the royal family of OSTA. In 1941, the focus was shifted to the hotel market with more development prospects
