Statistics from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China say the main business revenue of furniture manufacturing is 149.6 billion yuan, increased by 10.6% in Q1. The total profit is 7.5 billion yuan, increased by 10.3%.
The revenues of wood, bamboo and rattan furniture manufacturing are 93.5 billion yuan and 2.5 billion yuan, increased by 10% and 3.4%, the respective profits are 4.74 billion increased by 9.7% and 0.11 billion yuan decreased by 39.6%.
Usually the China furniture market becomes warming up since the middle of March and reaches peak from the beginning of May to August.
