The Export Rebate Rate of the Sanitary Products in China Expected to be Increased by 1–3%
In recent years, the State Council of China has paid close attention to the implementation of accelerating the export rebate system and improving the export rebate policy. If the sanitary products are included in this catalogue of the export rebate rate increase, an import positive signal will be released to the industry development.
In order to further improve the export rebate policy and accelerate the export rebate system, the State Council has decided to increase the export rebate rates of some cargoes in different degrees from November 1, 2018.
From November 1, 2018, the existing export rebate rates of 15% of the cargoes and 13% of some cargoes will be increased to 16%, and the rate of 9% will be increased to 10%, with part increased to 13%, and the rate of 5% will be increased to 6%, with part increased to 10%.
From August 2018, People’s Government of Guangdong Province was the first to introduce the burden alleviation policy, and 19 projects of 16 Guangdong enterprises including Dongpeng Sanitary, Guangdong Lehua and Jiajia Sanitary made profits.
If the sanitary products are included in this catalogue of the export rebate rate increase, the sanitary enterprises will certainly make profits from the export business. Among the sanitary products at present, the export rebate rate of the ceramic products, the hardware and sanitary appliance and the flushing components is respectively 9%, 15% and 13–15%. According to the latest measures, the existing cargoes’ export rebate rate of 9% will be increased to 10%, with part increased to 13%, and the existing export rebate rate of 15% of the cargos and 13% of some cargoes will be increased to 16%, with the growth between 1% and 3%.
