Design Viewpoints Lecture Series for Interior Designers On Tap for October High Point Market
High Point, NC, Sept. 20, 2010—The High Point Market Authority, in association with the American Society of Interior Designers, is once again producing its popular seminar series for interior designers during the October High Point Market. The Design Viewpoints Lecture Series, occurring daily at noon, offers up to .3 continuing education units (CEUs). The lectures will take place Oct. 17-19 at 100 High (corner of Wrenn and High Streets, Plaza Level).
All seminars in the Design Viewpoints Lecture Series are free to interior designers attending High Point Market, and lunch is complimentary but seating is limited. Designers are asked to reserve a place in advance by going to www.highpointmarket.org/RSVP.

Sunday, Oct. 17, 12pm - "Getting Your Projects Published Today: Unconventional Tips from Media Experts.” Moderated by The Editor at Large’s Julia Noran, editors from traditional and digital media share the project selection processes at their publications and offer tips for getting your work the attention it deserves. Discussion will include photography guidelines, presentation ideas, successful pitches, and more. Panelists include Veranda contributing editor Deborah Sanders, Rue Magazine founder and editor Crystal Gentilello, designer and Design Therapy blogger Brad Ford, and Traditional Home's senior design and lifestyle editor Jenny Bradley (.1 CEU Credit).
Monday, Oct. 18, 12pm - "The Buzz: Creating Excitement for You and for Your Business." Some people seem to naturally have that “it” factor, but anyone can create a buzz around their name or their business with the right tools. Tuesday, Oct. 19, 12pm - "Finding the Home within Your Client."
