It is always interesting to see what type of objects can be made into artistic statements. These airplane trolleys are the very ones that slow up plane boarding to provide food for passengers. Typically they are pretty beaten up just from the normal wear and tear associated with the airline industry. Andreas Flach from ND Designworks has shaped the trolleys into accessories for the house. The 22 carat gold example has gold leaf applied and then varnished on the object.
