"Recently, there are many geometric and industrial line decorations. But now the natural original shapes have aroused our greater interest. For example, MELT and BASH are good testimonies. In order to make the CLOUD series full of original natural feeling, and we have made a lot of attempts and efforts for the detailed surface texture and strong handicraft shape. In fact, part of CLOUD's design inspiration comes from the natural world, such as the shape of clouds; while the other part comes from my own craftsmanship obsession. We choose aluminum because it has made a strong contribution to the progress of contemporary industry. It can be used to make very large shapes while still maintaining lightness. At the same time, the natural gray of the original aluminum surface can also create the feeling of softness of metal reflection."

Handicraft has always been one of Tom Dixon's design cores, and he has a special preference for the dying traditional casting process. When the wave of standardized exquisite goods swept every corner, the humanistic temperature of handicrafts became a refuge for us to escape the homogenized life.

The Cloud series is hammered and forged by Indian craftsmen. Every hammer pattern and dent produced by metal stretching and warping is a hand-made imprint. The rough and simple playful details reveal a unique charm.

Yunqi · Lightness

The Cloud series is made of highly reflective polished aluminum. As an important metal material that drives the development of modern society, aluminum has good ductility and light weight, making it easy to create large and light works.

The silver gray metal surface softly reflects light. As the viewers stand still or approach, the Cloud series flexibly releases the glimpse of the cloud, and there is endless fun between the movement and the stillness. Sometimes it surging like white waves, sometimes indifferently like flying catkins.

Yunyi · Change

The Cloud series includes plates, bowls, tall and short combination containers that can be used as flower vessels or champagne buckets. It is not only a practical utensil, but also an elegant embellishment that highlights the taste of art. Creative combinations of single products, or matching with flowers and green plants, add to the natural charm of the Cloud series.

The Cloud bowl is as full as a seed pod, just like the rounded outline of a classical auspicious cloud. The silver-white luster is clear and elegant, triggering reveries.

The Cloud plate can be used as a fruit plate, or it can be creatively decorated with fresh flowers or dried flowers. Enjoying the floating clouds under the moon, the fragrance is lingering.
