Amid the sea of global design events cancelled or postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the 3rd annual edition of COLLECTIBLE, the pioneering fair dedicated exclusively to the 21st-century contemporary collectible design, returned to the Vanderborght building in Brussels for its third edition earlier this month.

“When we launched COLLECTIBLE more than four years ago, we would never have dreamt it could generate so much enthusiasm around contemporary collectible design,” said Clélie Debehault and Liv Vaisberg. Debehault is an art and design consultant based in Paris and Brussels, while Vaisberg is an Antwerp-based international artistic director. “The current interest around unique pieces and limited editions seems to increase every year and we are proud to be part of creating this new narrative for collectible design,” the duo said.
COLLECTIBLE 2020 presented an expanded roster of over 100 international exhibitors and an exciting new panorama of unique and limited edition works by practitioners from a mixed range of disciplines, sitting at the crossroads of design, architecture and art.
