ePropulsion, an professional electric outboard motors company in China will set up an office in Hong Kong, S.A.R., China to strengthen its research and development capabilities.
The new Hong Kong, S.A.R., China office will complement ePropulsion's headquarters and manufacturing plant in Dongguan and its laboratory and marketing team in Shenzhen.
As a company headquartered in the Guangdong-Hong Kong, S.A.R., China-Macau, S.A.R., China Greater Bay Area (GBA), ePropulsion said it has the ability to "utilize the region's advantages and synergy in technological innovation, high-tech manufacturing, and professional services."

Hong Kong, S.A.R., China research group will focus on the development of automated ship technology and the Internet of Ships (IoB). Researchers will work closely with their colleagues in mainland China and get the opportunity to use advanced software simulation tools, miniature prototypes, and real-world tests.
In addition, the new office places ePropulsion at the core of Hong Kong’s innovation ecosystem and further strengthens its R&D partnership with the Hong Kong, S.A.R., China University of Science and Technology (HKUST). The company was originally established in Hong Kong, S.A.R., China in 2012.
