Crescent Custom Yachts' flagship, the 50-meter Danzante Bay, has embarked on its sea trials near the shipyard's facilities in British Columbia. This vessel, the largest superyacht ever constructed in Canada, was commissioned by an American owner who chose to name it after his Mexican resort and golf course, Danzante Bay. The yacht's construction commenced in 2019, utilizing a composite hull acquired from Christensen Yachts.

Danzante Bay boasts an exquisite exterior design and naval architecture crafted by Gregory C. Marshall, while its interior designed by H2 Yacht Design. Some of the standout features include a hot tub on the sundeck, a sun lounge on the foredeck, and glass bulwarks on the upper deck.

Accommodations aboard this yacht cater to 12 guests distributed across six staterooms, all within the yacht's 499GT footprint. The master suite is situated at the bow and features separate walk-in wardrobes, a private office space, and an elevator connecting all four decks.

The company was started in 1985 by Jack Charles in Crescent Beach. In the early 2000’s the Crescent brand was sold to a group of investors. Almost 15 years later the Crescent brand was acquired by Tim Charles, the grandson of Crescent’s founder, Jack Charles. With a six-bay fully enclosed shipbuilding facility, Crescent is able to have multiple projects underway at all times.
