Dutch boatbuilder Holterman Shipyard is expanding its X-Treme series with the introduction of the X78 Fly, a 23.9-meter model currently under construction at the Meppel facilities. Scheduled for delivery in early 2024, the X78 Fly is an evolution of the X-Treme 78 Sport model, specifically designed for warm-weather cruising in Dutch canals and northern waters.
Designed by Bernd Weel, the X78 Fly features a low profile and a spacious hull. Noteworthy is the addition of a flybridge, enhancing the yacht's appeal for conviviality. The interiors boast a full-beam master cabin, two twin VIP cabins, and a forward guest cabin, with floor heating integrated throughout.
The flybridge, a central feature, is equipped with fold-down wings, a wet bar, and seating for up to 12 guests. Technical features include a hydraulically-operated stern platform, Volvo-Penta dynamic positioning, and a thermal FLIR camera for system monitoring.
Holterman's Sales and Operational Manager, Julian van Santen, expressed pride in being commissioned for the first X-Treme 78 Flybridge, anticipating a positive reception at boat shows.
The X-Treme 78 Flybridge is set to impress with a maximum speed exceeding 26 knots, following the successful delivery of Holterman's X-Treme 78 Sport model earlier this year.
