Previously named Ira, the 42.75-metre Baglietto motor yacht Tiamat sold, with Yannick Altevolmer of Drettmann Yachts introducing the buyer and Will Bagshaw of Edmiston representing the seller. At the time of her sale, Tiamat had a last known asking price of €9,000,000.
The motor yacht features exterior design crafted by Francesco Paszkowski, while her interior stemmed from the drawing boards of Art Line and her naval architecture was crafted by her Italy-based builder Baglietto. The superyacht can accommodate up to 12 guests across her five luxurious staterooms, with space for a crew of 11.
Delivered in 2009, Tiamat showcases a spacious main saloon, housing large plush sofas, surrounding a low-level coffee table. Extensive windows line the saloon, allowing a plethora of light to illuminate the interior.
A neutral colour palette extends across the staterooms, featuring meticulous wooden craftsmanship and ocean-inspired wall hangings, enhancing the sense of opulence onboard.
Regarding performance, Tiamat is powered by twin Caterpillar engines, providing her with a cruising speed of 12 knots and a top speed of up to 17 knots.
