HVO is a diesel-like fuel made from renewable waste, residue and vegetable oils. The environmental benefits of Used Cooking Oil (UCO) HVO fuels include reduced greenhouse gas emissions, fewer particulates, sulphur and nitrogen oxides than conventional diesel, and reduced air pollution.

Italian designer Valerio Rivellini has unveiled details of the 9.6-metre explorer tender Iceman, designed as a support vessel for Cantiere delle Marche (CDM)'s 44.3-metre Flexplorer 146. The tender is capable of operating in all latitudes and also includes a 50-centimetre draught for shallow cruising.

In a significant transaction, the 85-meter Oceanco sailing marvel, Aquijo, has found a new owner, orchestrated by Gary Wright and Jonathan Zwaans of Y.CO, introducing the buyer, and Robert Shepherd and Bruce Brakenhoff Jr. of Edmiston representing the seller. The yacht, with a last known asking price of EUR105,000,000, will continue under the expert management of Y.CO.

Frédéric Jousset’s 153-foot Art Explorer is the world’s largest aluminum sailing catamaran, yet that’s not what excites him. The French entrepreneur commissioned the custom-built Perini Navi to realize his dream of democratizing the arts. The multihull will sail the Mediterranean and French Antilles to bring free immersive exhibitions to thousands of visitors, while also straddling the divide between charter yacht and floating gallery. Art Explorer is Jousset’s first new-build yacht. His own charter experiences shaped his ideas for the boat. “It had to be a sailing yacht because you can’t promote culture at the detriment of the environment,” Jousset told Robb Report following a tour of the vessel at the Monaco Yacht Show. “I wanted something that was super-efficient in terms of fuel consumption, under 500 GT and with six cabins for charter, because there’s a market for that.”

The 54-metre Baglietto motor yacht C has been sold by Fernando Nicholson at Camper & Nicholsons, who represented both buyer and seller. C was built in aluminium at Baglietto's La Spezia shipyard to a design by Horacio Bozzo Design and delivered in 2021. She was commissioned as a fully-custom project by an experienced owner looking to accommodate a large family on board.
