Pixalux, the world’s first structural, frameless LED illuminated panel was shortlisted in the final of the Innovation Trail Awards at the Retail Design Expo.

The prestigious event had a number of entries but the judging panel only selected a few innovations for the shortlist. Pixalux UK joined exhibitors in the very best solutions, products and services that are shaping the way that the retail industry evolve.

Pixalux is an illuminated panel that is 16mm thick. Acrylic sheets are bonded together in a unique way and combined with the latest LEDs, supplied with standard white, warm white/cool white adjustable or RGB, which provides a myriad of colours. It is incredibly versatile and can be used in any environment.

At the event, they launched their new ‘Click-Light’ profile which is an incredibly simple way to create adjustable illuminated shelves. Within the upright profile is a positive/negative conductor which carries power so that shelves can be adjusted on site easily.

Also on display were two bespoke point of sales units – one showing how illuminated shelving can be incorporated into a wooden POS unit and the other showing illuminated side panels with graphics.

Pixalux received an amazing response at the event and were extremely happy with the accolade of being a finalist.
