Universal Orlando is building two hotels for budget-conscious visitors, both to be operated by Loews Hotels & Resorts. They are due to open in 2019.

　　The 2,050- and 750-room hotels will charge room rates starting at less than $100 a night, less expensive than Cabana Bay Beach Resort, which opened in 2014, and the Aventura Hotel, which will open next August.

　　Of the 2,800 rooms at the new hotels, more than half will be two-bedroom suites.

　　Located about a mile south of the Universal Orlando theme parks, the two hotels will be built at the 64-acre site where the Wet n’ Wild water park used to be located.

　　The two hotels will share amenities such as three pools and two food courts as well as poolside bars and fitness rooms. The properties will have a “beachy” design scheme. Universal hasn't named the hotels yet. It will start taking reservations early next year.

　　Guests will receive early-admission privileges to Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay as well as free transportation around the resort.

　　Loews operates five hotels at Universal Orlando: Loews Portofino Bay, the Hard Rock, Loews Royal Pacific, Loews Sapphire Falls and Cabana Bay Beach. With the two budget-priced resorts and the Aventural, Loews will manage all eight hotels totaling about 9,000 rooms at Universal Orlando.
