NH Hotel Group assembled a new expansion team

NH Hotel Group assembled a new expansion team to boost company growth across its brands NH Hotels, NH Collection and Nhow. The new team will be responsible for seeking out growth opportunities, reinforcing the hotel group’s existing partnerships, increasing NH Hotel’s presence in European and Latin American markets and entering other high-potential markets.

NH Hotel Group has named Laia Lahoz as chief assets and development officer, Luis Arsuaga as SVP of development and Jesús Arnedo as development and asset director for Spain, France, Portugal and Andorra. The three new executives will lead the international expansion team, which also includes current NH Hotel executives Ascan Kókai, head of northern European development, and Juan Carlos Reus, head of Latin American development.

Laia Lahoz will lead the new team and the expansion of NH Hotel’s asset portfolio while creating a new expansion strategy. Lahoz, who is also a new member of the management committee, will report to Ramón Aragonés, CEO of NH Hotel Group.

Lahoz originally served as SVP of asset management at NH Hotel. She holds a law degree from Pompeu Fabra University and a master's degree in international cooperation from Barcelona's Autónoma University. Lahoz worked in the company law department of Garrigues law firm and at several firms in the hotel sector before joining NH Hotel Group.
