Q Hospitality Management to manage Washington's hotel

Q Hospitality Management, a Seattle-based hospitality management company offering consulting and operational support to independent hotels and restaurants, secured, under its management brand The Q Hotel Group, the management contract for the 43-room Captain Whidbey Inn on Whidbey Island, Wash.

“We are delighted to add Captain Whidbey to our portfolio,” Quentin Incao, CEO of Q Hospitality Management and The Q Hotel Group, said in a statement. “Our growth strategy is to manage only ‘unique and distinctive independent hotels’ that provide an authentically local experience. Captain Whidbey is a boutique destination that, under new ownership, is about to be reborn, making it a great addition to our collection.”

First on deck for Captain Whidbey was a change to the menu for the summer season, ultimately leading to the creation of a new concept for the restaurant and bar in early 2019. The Inn will also refresh all of its rooms this winter, and any changes made will maintain the character and history of the property.
