ISSA Announces Two New Government Affairs Advisory Committee Members

　　ISSA is pleased to announce two new members of its Government Affairs Advisory Committee (GAAC), Ryan S. Bowley from SJ Johnson Professional and Keith Schneringer from WAXIE Sanitary Supply, an Envoy Solutions company.

　　The GAAC is an important part of ISSA’s investment in and the expansion of its advocacy efforts. Committee members play a critical role in supporting the association’s government affairs, including advocating on key legislative and regulatory issues impacting the full spectrum of the cleaning industry.

　　Bowley is the manager of government relations for SC Johnson. In this role, he focuses on U.S. federal policy and engagement with congressional and executive branch stakeholders. Immediately prior to his current role, Bowley held issues management and government relations positions with international resources company BHP. He started his career serving on the legislative staffs of two members of the U.S. House of Representatives. Bowley has also previously worked with the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association, the Petroleum Equipment and Services Association, and at a boutique government relations firm.

　　Schneringer has been in the jansan supply industry since 1990 and is currently the director of merchandising and sustainability for WAXIE. In his current role, Schneringer develops vertical-market specific programs to better assist customers, product and supplier management, and the company’s sustainability initiatives. Before assuming his current responsibilities, he worked as an account and sales manager for WAXIE.

　　Stepping off the GAAC are Sean Keefer of Ecolab Inc. and Monica Saviano of NETWORK?. “Keith and Ryan are extremely knowledgeable about the cleaning industry and committed to ISSA’s advocacy efforts,” said ISSA Director of Government Affairs John Nothdurft. “We’re excited to work with them in their new capacity as GAAC members to advance the important government affairs agenda for the industry. And we thank Sean and Monica for their service and helping to establish the GAAC one year ago.”
