3M Continues Commitment to Water Conservation

3M announced the company has joined the Water Resilience Coalition (WRC).

Founded in 2020, the WRC is an industry-driven, CEO-led coalition that aims to preserve the world’s freshwater resources through collective action and quantifiable goals. As a member of the WRC, 3M also has endorsed the CEO Water Mandate, a United Nations Global Compact initiative intended to mobilize business leaders on water conservation, sanitation, and sustainable development.

“3M is proactively applying our science and innovation to improve the water supply used in our operations and the communities we serve,” said Mike Roman, 3M CEO. “We are committed to sharing our expertise on global water solutions, and our participation in the WRC will expand and amplify our efforts.”
