Preface
Latte art is a method of preparing coffee created by pouring steamed milk into a shot of espresso and resulting in a pattern or design on the surface of the resulting latte. It can also be created or embellished by simply "drawing" in the top layer of foam. Latte art is particularly difficult to create consistently, due to the demanding conditions required of both the espresso shot and milk. This, in turn, is limited by the experience of the barista and quality of the espresso machine. The pour itself, then, becomes the last challenge for the latte artist.
White foam, light brown coffee, these two pure colors are enough for us to experience the mellow sweet and bitter.
Brief
World Latte Art Championship is founded by -WCE (World Coffee Events), the premier producer of events for the coffee community worldwide. Their mission is to develop events that engage the specialty coffee community and promote coffee excellence. Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo International Exhibition Co., Ltd has introduced the championship in 2013, and the champions are attending the world finals annually. In the first year, there were 40 competitors, and it has increased into 70 competitors this year. Professional events, top-ranking judges, international qualification and e marketing exceed bring more and more attentions and recognition to China Latte Art Championship.

World Latte Art Championship will be held on HOTELEX Guangzhou for the appearance. Overview
1. The championship is comprised of two separate rounds: a preliminary round and a final round. Time arrangement: Preliminary round: Art bar area: 5 minutes preparing and 10 minutes competing Stage area: 5 minutes preparing and 10 minutes competing Final round: Stage area: 5 minutes preparing and 10 minutes competing
2. During the preliminary round there are two components: one in the bar area where a single creative pattern is produced, and the other on stage where two identical free-pour lattes and two identical designer lattes are produced.
3. Once a competitor presents their printed photograph for the drink to be poured, the next drinks poured must correspond to the photograph, the competitor must make the sequence of beverages to be served clear to the judges.
4. The highest-scoring six competitors will compete in the final round entirely on stage. In the final round competitors will produce six drinks: two identical free-pour macchiato, two identical free-pour lattes, and two identical designer patterns.
