Shanghai International Hotel Equipment and Supply Expo (HOTELEX Shanghai) is a world-wide professional trade show in the hotel and catering industry for over 24 years. It is organized by China Tourism Hotel Association and Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo International Exhibition Co., Ltd., and also guided by the Shanghai Tourism Bureau. The 24th HOTELEX Shanghai has concluded successfully on 2nd April at Shanghai New International Expo Center, which has gained the higher achievement and progress in hotel and catering industry. During HOTELEX 2015, the exhibitors and professional visitors came from over 130 countries and what's more, its fascinating competitions and industry forums became the hot zones with the most foot traffic and frequent bursts of applause and cheering.

The 2nd HOTELEX Chengdu is organized by UBM China Ltd., and undertook by both Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo International Exhibition Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Province Hotel Supplies Industry Association. On addition, HOTELEX Chengdu will be held on 5th – 7th August, 2015 at Chengdu Century City International Convention and Exhibition Centre Hall 2, Hall 3 and Hall 4. The exhibition space will reach 30,000 square meters, with more than 300 exhibitors, and the number of professional buyers is expected to exceed 15,000.

2015 Hotel Room Service Challenge is one of the most popular key factors of the HOTELEX Chengdu. The competition is organized by the China Tourism Association, the China Tourist Hotels Association, China Employment Training Technical Instruction Center, China Textile Tobacco Finance, and Trade Union Joint National Committee will be hosted in Chengdu for the first time. The competition will be carried out on four main events for room attendants, waiters, bartenders, etc. There will be nearly 200 candidates from star hotels in more than 30 provinces and cities, in which the top three candidates of room attendants, waiters and bartenders will receive the title of "national technical experts" and will be incorporated into the thirteenth highly skilled Recognition Program.

The Competition will invite the authority judges as well as the experts from the hospitality and catering industry. Its mission is to show styles, build good images, promote service and seek for development. the purpose is to fully demonstrate the achievements of China's tourism hotel industry has made, to establish benchmark and example for the quality of service the hospitality industry, and to promote communication and learning of service skills.
