Supernormal collection by Vitra:Understated and useful

Vitra launched the Supernormal collection by Jasper Morrison. The term “supernormal” was coined by Morrison with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa to describe design that is “understated, useful and responsible”.

The collection includes a modular sofa, occasional lounge chair, occasional low tables (a reworking of the 2004 Plate Tables) and the All Plastic Chair (which utilizes a new material that is cast in a single piece that retains an organic shape, and finely modeled backrest for comfort).

Vitra is a Swiss furniture company that designs and manufactures contemporary furniture and objects, as well as licensed reproductions of classic pieces, such as the designs of Charles and Ray Eames and George Nelson, among others.
