IAFP: a platform for the furniture industry
For over 15 years now, the International Alliance of Furnishing Publications (IAFP) has been
the best window to see the furniture world through for a lot of companies, people,
organizations and institutions.
It is currently made up of the 18 most important specialized publications in the furnishing
sector, which represent the same number of countries, and we are sure many other
magazines will join our Alliance in the next years.
The IAFP´s magazines offer its readers significant and useful information for decision
making. This information is presented in a lively and appropriate manner and it’s managed
responsibly and ethically.
Moreover, IAFP members printed publications and web pages are the best and most
lucrative advertising spaces for those who wish to make their products known in the main
furnishing markets or for those who wish to deepen their penetration in them.
Furthermore, the IAFP actively promotes many of the most important international fairs
of the industry, institutionally or through each of the members’ contacts.
In a world that is becoming more complex and competitive each day, with an industry that
constantly has to modernize and adapt itself to the consumer´s and buyer´s change in taste
who demand to be up to speed with the new trends and styles, the IAFP´s publications are
a valuable tool for furniture companies and organizations.
Appearing in the most important furniture manufacturing regions in the world, IAFP’s
publications work in benefit of the world’s furniture industry and trade, thus contributing
to the economy´s impact and sector´s growth.
Finally, I’d like to say thank you very much all people, companies, trade fairs and institutions
supporting IAFP during these 15 years. Many thanks all our friends in all the world.
Our alliance will continue to serve furniture industry and trade for many more years.
Sincerely
Pedro Rubén Romero Olivera

15TH ANNIVERSARY OF IAFP
IAFP, The International Alliance of Furnishing Publications
IAFP, The International Alliance of Furnishing Publications
IAFP is an association of the foremost trade
publications from each country, based on quality
editorial content and on circulation. Member
publications provide information, business
reports, products news, trade events and
everything you need to know to do business in
the furnishing industry any where in the
world. IAFP is in fact a union of leading international
B2B magazines of their countries and
they are representing their furniture markets
both in domestic and international fields. As
of 2012, the alliance has 18 member magazines
representing 18 countries all over the
world.
Purposes of IAFP
In the article II of IAFP’s constitution, the purposes
of the alliance are as follows: To enable
its members to have a global perspective of
the furniture industry and to exchange editorial
content and marketing strategies, to seek
to contribute to the general improvement of
the furniture industry, to provide opportunities
for members to extend and enhance their
knowledge of publishing and of the furniture
industry.
In fact, the natural aim of the alliance is to assist
and promote the global furniture industry
through the medium of print and to increase
awareness of the different markets that make
up the world furnishings industry, thereby
creating business opportunities. The various
publications of the alliance are themselves a
great connect between diverse markets and
provide a conduit for knowledge and
business.
