Foam bedding products producer FXI has named Gary Fassak, a 30-year management executive, as senior vice president for its home furnishings division.

His responsibilities will include overseeing the group's day-to-day business operations, as well as driving strategic partnerships with the company's home furnishings customers, officials said.

Before joining FXI, Fassak was vice president of marketing and sales for the refreshment services division of Aramark, and served on the company's executive leadership council. Previously he held leadership positions at the Philadelphia Zoo, Crayola, Campbell Soup and Procter and Gamble.

"Over his 30-year history, he has held senior positions with some of the world's great corporations, and demonstrated an exemplary ability to both lead and manage business units.
