The China flagship store of A.R.T. opens on July 18 in JSWB International Furniture Village, Shanghai, meanwhile, the A.R.T. brand franchise business is officially started.

A.R.T. Furniture was founded in 2003 in the US and acquired by Makor in 2010. Makor refined two keywords for the brand as New Tradition and Transition and brought 14 series into China market.

A.R.T. is an important part of Makor’s multi-brand strategy. Dalian, Xiamen and Wenzhou franchising stores had already opened earlier this year, Shanghai store is the first flagship store. It is estimated 21 stores in total to be opened in China by the end of this year.

Makor announced that the company would have several new brands such as YVVY, ZEST, Rehome to cover different ages featuring different styles.
