In the next 30 years, what are the core competences of furniture industry? E-business is largely considered as crucial to future trends. But how could it come true？Masters from various fields are invited to Furniture China 2014, discussing the hot topic in the furniture industry.

During 10th -14th September, the 20th China International Furniture Expo (Furniture China 2014) is going to present a furniture industry feast at Shanghai New International Expo Centre and Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre. This platform is not only for product display and transaction, but gathers great men in this field for sharing ideas of the challenges and opportunities we are facing via kinds of forums and summits.  

On 10th September, the China Furniture Industrial Strategic Development Summit will be held at Hall E1-M19 of Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The keywords are Capital, Internet, The Battle of Brands, The war situation in furniture industry of China. More than 250 outstanding people in this area will attend the summit.

On the morning of 11th, the Home Furniture E-business Forum will take place at Hall 4 of Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. This forum will be important in building connections between furniture exhibitors and big e-commerce online platforms. 14 e-business leaders in the furniture industry are invited to share their opinion of the development and challenge of e-business in China.

This year Design of Designers (DOD) will move to the #3 Entrance Hall of Shanghai New International Expo Centre for a presentation of design works from 60 talented designers. Nearly half of them are cutting-edge designers whose furniture designs are highly anticipated. Significantly, a lot of design forums are going to be held there during 10th - 13th  September with hot tops from “Industry 4.0”, “3D Printing and Digitized Manufacturing”, “Physical Life” to “2014 Home Furniture Future Trends”, “Original Design Summit” and “Soft Decoration T00 100 Design Award”.
