Midea and Jingdong have signed Strategic Letter of Intent regarding the cooperation in 2015, with an annual operation target of RMB10 billion, according to the announcement of Midea Group Co., Ltd.

Midea Group has been busy taking actions to embrace the Internet recently: first, it realized capital cooperation with Xiaomi, followed by signing Strategic Letter of Intent with e-commerce giant Jingdong on the last day of 2014.

According to the comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement signed between Liu Qiangdong, the founder and CEO of Jingdong Mall, and Fang Hongbo, the Chairman of Midea Group, both parties will further expand business cooperation scope and cooperation depth, and strengthen cooperation in key development fields such as smart home and channel expanding. Midea is expected to become the first household appliance enterprise reaching sales volume of RMB10 billion in Jingdong through this strategic cooperation.

It is learned that they signed the agreement to lay a solid foundation for both parties to conduct all-round cooperation in logistics, big data, intelligent application, channel and after-sales services.
