HARTFIELD, Conn. – Anacara and Greenington have reached an agreement to show and distribute Greenington’s line of outdoor bamboo furniture through the specialty store and furniture retail distribution of Anacara.

For the past 12 years, Greenington has been producing indoor bamboo furniture and has made the transition into the outdoor arena through this partnership with Anacara. “This is the first bamboo outdoor furniture line to be introduced by Greenington after many years of development,” said Yang Lin, Greenington’s president and founder. “We are pleased to work with Anacara to promote this sustainable bamboo outdoor furniture.”

Seven years ago, Anacara transitioned away from its teak business as market saturation expanded. Earlier this year, Anacara President Salvatore Carrara began discussions with Lin about forming this partnership. “After the first meeting I recognized the quality level of the Greenington product was exceptional,” said Carrara. The soft introduction at the ICFA Preview Show in July focused on the sustainability of the bamboo product.

Lin has been manufacturing high quality bamboo products for more than 20 years before creating his own line of bamboo furniture in 2004. Because of Lin’s expertise with the eco-friendly, rapidly renewable resource, Greenington’s bamboo furniture is known for its enduring beauty, style and quality.

The Greenington line will be shown in the Anacara showroom at Casual Market Chicago, Suite 16-130 at the Merchandise Mart.
