Healthcare sponsors the 2016 Bedding Conference announced by Furniture/Today and will debut at this conference at the Westin La Poloma Resort & Spa in Tucson, Ariz., next May.

The conference is set for May 10-12, with registration and a cocktail reception on Tuesday, May 10, and a full day of educational sessions on May 11, followed by a cocktail reception and Retail Giants of Bedding dinner that evening. The conference will conclude on May 12 with educational sessions that morning.

“We are excited to announce the Westin La Poloma Resort & Spa as the location for our 2016 Bedding Conference,” said David Perry, the bedding editor of Furniture/Today and the editorial director of the Bedding Conference. “This beautiful resort, nestled in the High Sonoran foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains, offers a great setting for the bedding industry to focus on the key issues facing retailers and other industry stake-holders.”

In announcing a western U.S. location for the Bedding Conference next year, Furniture/Today continues a pattern it has established of rotating the conference to key regions of the country on a regular basis.

Two years ago, the conference was held in Phoenix. For the past two years the Bedding Conference was held in Orlando, Fla.

“This will be our second Bedding Conference in Arizona, a vibrant state for retail bedding business,” Perry said. “We look forward to hosting retailers from Arizona and other Western-U.S. locations, in addition to the bedding retailers from across the country who regularly attend our Bedding Conference.”

“Masters of Marketing” is the theme for the conference. Sessions will look at the growing clout of online mattress retailers, and other retail-focused issues.

The Westin La Poloma Resort & Spa underwent a $35 million resort-wide rejuvenation last fall, and has successfully hosted a number of major conferences and events since that time.

“Our recently concluded Bedding Conference received excellent reviews from attendees,” Perry said. “We take our leadership in the bedding industry very seriously and we are already planning another strong retail-oriented agenda for next year’s Bedding Conference.”
